For an organization in Weert (Netherlands) we are searching for a Financial Controller.
 
General Purpose:
The person in this role will be responsible for monthly financial (business) reporting, and business analyses | AV’s businesses in the EMEA, Asia Pacific, and Australia region.
 
Duties and Accountabilities:
• Managing monthly financial reporting to HQ
• Preparation of disclosure information for monthly, quarterly and annual filings
• Preparation of information for senior management both structured and on an ad hoc basis
• Assisting with further automation and alignment of the reporting and forecasting process
• Ability to maintain a relationship with external stakeholders such as auditors
• Participate in finance related projects, including UAT and system testing, with relevant functional teams in EMEA, Asia Pacific, Australia
• Actively participate in the Month End closing process, including completing reconciliations and other month end tasks, working closely with the broader Finance Department, to ensure a successful and timely close.

• Strong technology skills, including proficiency with MS Office applications (especially Excel and Power BI) and SAP (ERP and BPC)

Minimum Education and Experience Required: 
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Applied Mathematics, or related field, with at least five (5) years of financial reporting and data handling experience
• SAP and BPC experience would be a plus
 
Special Job Requirements: 
• Must be available for long, varied work hours at times
• Fluent in English and preferably French
