Our client is an international organisation with production and sales offices in multiple countries in Europe. Their head office is located in the Eindhoven region. The company employs over 10.000 people around the world and has Shared Service Centers in The Netherlands and Germany. Due to continuous growth and to establish further improvement of processes, for their SSC in The Netherlands they are now recruiting for a Head of Finance Operations(AR/AP/Credit Management) – strong leader and excellent team player.

The Head of Finance Operations  handles the operational management of the teams and is accountable for coordinating the AR/AP/Credit Management processes, identifying areas for further improvement and supporting quality assurance initiatives. The Head of Finance Operations reports to the FSSC Manager in The Netherlands and works in close cooperation with the general accounting teams, corporate credit risk management, treasury, purchasing, sales departments and the other SSC disciplines in The Netherlands and Germany.

Main tasks

• Provides leadership and direction for the AR,  AP and Credit Management teams and is responsible for professional processes.
• Processes and monitors accounting transactions and reporting in accordance with the process design and service levels defined in the SLA’'s
• Ensures availability of process knowledge and technical competence in own areas of responsibility.
• Provides support for statutory accounting, external reporting and related internal and external audit and corporate governance: execution, control and results
• Provides support and coordination of process implementation and tool deployments in own areas of responsibility.
• Initiates tool development.

Profile of the candidate

• Bachelor degree in Finance or Audit with at least 7+ years of specific professional experience, 5+ years of management experience.
• Native speaker in Dutch or English. Knowledge (read and write) of German is a large plus.
• Good understanding of executing transactional business processes within ERP systems.
• Knowledge of relevant commercial and tax guidelines are required.
• Sound know-how in terms of accounting according to IFRS.
• Excellent knowledge of SAP FiCo, Material Management (MM) and Sales Distribution (SD).
