CFO

The new CFO needs to be a finance business leader and a true business partner. Someone who has an entrepreneurial and international attitude and has been working in a high-growth environment before. Who, as a board member, is strong in communication and reporting in terms of forward looking, growth modeling and accounting. Who has experience in comparable organizational structures and business processes. He/she knows how to improve efficiency and how to build a top finance organization with integrated processes and systems. He/she is a countervailing balance to the CEO as well

Key responsibilities

• Managing the entire financial organization and further improve the financial business structure into mature processes
• Professionalizing the planning & control cycle, ensuring financial oversight and performance management, including budgeting, forecasting, accounting and audit, tax reporting and financial reporting. 
• Set up a solid compliance and legal framework
• Responsible for finance (3 admin, 2 business control), a fraud prevention officer and a Payment Service Provider (PSP) officer

Role overview

• Hands on financial with proven track record in improving financial processes, such as forecasting, cashflow and dashboard overview
• Has at least 10 years financial leadership experience 
• Excellent strategic and analytical thinker with proven ability to develop strategic long term financial plans
• Experienced in leading multi-national teams

Candidate Background

• Master in Business and/or Economics with preferably an RA/RC qualification
• Fluent in English and Dutch, other languages would be a plus
• Industry experience B2C, eCommerce (webshops), Gaming, FinTech, Software/SaaS, Data and AI, Payments is a plus
• Skills - process minded, goal oriented, focused, precise, confident, strategic thinker, connector, entrepreneurial spirit, people manager
