The EMEA head office of the company is based the region of Roermond, The Netherlands. Due to the growth of the business we are looking for a Finance Manager to lead the accounting team. The team consists of 2 financial accountants, 1 AP clerk and 2 AR clerks. In this role, you will report to the Finance Director for EMEA and Asia Pacific and you will work closely with the Finance Manager Asia (based in Hong Kong)

Tasks and responsibilities

• Plan, monitor, develop and execute month end, quarter end and year end procedures for all entities handled by the accounting team
• Review, analyse and improve all Balance Sheet reconciliations that the team is handling;
• Take responsibility for internal and external audits;
• Develop continuous improvement initiatives to ensure the most efficient completion of duties;
• You have a deep understanding of AP/ AR/ Billing processes and have the ability to identify problems in business processes and to develop efficient solutions that have cross functional impact;
• You will be in charge of developing new and streamline existing processes and systems to ensure more efficient delivery of value add to both internal and external stakeholders.

Job requirements

• At least a bachelor or Master degree in Accounting/Finance;
• ACCA/CPA certification or compatible is preferred;
• Fluent in English and Dutch;
• Strong Accounting background, a minimum of 6+ years of experience in operational accounting function
• You have at least 2 years of experience in a management role and are experienced in managing a team of financial professionals.
